The role will report to the relevant Digital Solutions, Enterprise Architecture, or Intelligent Automation leadership function. CCBA is the 8th largest Coca-Cola authorised bottler in the world by revenue, and the largest on the continent. It accounts for over 40% of all Coca-Cola ready-to-drink beverages sold in Africa by volume. The Platform Architect: Automation is responsible for identifying, designing, and governing enterprise automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, process effectiveness, control, and business value across CCBA. The role is accountable for partnering with business stakeholders to evaluate automation opportunities, develop compelling business cases, and define scalable automation roadmaps that align with business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and digital transformation priorities Key Duties & Responsibilities - Automation Business Case preparation & Prioritisation: Work with the business to develop automation business cases and prioritise opportunities by highest business value, our policies and the best technology aligned with our enterprise architecture - Automation Solution Architecture : Design scalable and integrated automation solutions aligned to business, reporting and control requirements - ERP & Systems Integration : Ensure seamless integration between automation, finance, reporting, and operational systems - Automation & Financial systems Architecture : Support reliable automation through effective data structures, integrations and platform design - Governance & Technical Standards : Define and maintain platform architecture standards, integration principles and technical governance/audit for automation solutions - Security & Compliance Enablement : Ensure solution design support automation controls, audit requirements and regulatory compliance standards - Platform Optimisation & Scalability : Identify and implement opportunities to improve automation platform performance, scalability and resilience - Engage CCBA business partners & understand the business processes that create automation opportunities. - Evaluate automation needs. - Evaluate automation technology. - Develop and prioritise automation business cases with the business partner. - Lead the systems automation & solution architecture. - Technical standards and governance. - Security, compliance and controls alignment. - Platform scalability and optimisation. Skills, Experience & Education Education - Hons/degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, finance or related field Experience - 6+ years’ experience in automation or related fielde - MS Dynamics/large ERP automation experience preferable. Skills - Systems integration and API design - Solution and platform architecture and systems automation expertise - Governance/audit and compliance awareness - Analytical and conceptual thinking - Technical documentation and standards development - Stakeholder engagement and communication - Ability to engage & form partnerships with business leaders
