Department Sec Distribution Number of Positions 1 Location - Town / City Bloemfontein Required Education Level Grade 12 | National Certificate Job Advert Summary We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the Delivery Driver with delivering products to customers, handling stock, checking returned goods and ensuring that all deliveries are completed accurately and on time. The role also involves assisting with vehicle checks, maintaining the correct storage temperatures for products and ensuring that all delivery documents are in order. We are looking for someone who works well with others, takes pride in their work and is committed to providing good customer service. Requirements - Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4 - Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level - Business English: Fluent - Travel off-site/ overnight stay - Work shifts/weekends/public holidays Competencies - Acts with honesty and consistency - Maintains high standards - Collaborate with others to achieve a common objective - Commitment and motivation - Customer orientated Duties and Responsibilities Deliver Stock - Maintain stock integrity - Deliver product according to invoice in accordance with customer specifications - Deliver stock at prescribed temperature - Handle containers (pallets and crates) - Assist in collecting and securing cash - Adhere to stock recheck procedure when required - Comply and adhere to safety rules and regulations Assist with vehicle roadworthy checks - Assist in Pre and Post trip inspection of vehicle - Assist Driver in vehicle maneuvering Return Stock - Pick up authorized product - Maintain cold chain - Adhere to Principal return standards - Separate good from bad stock returns Perform administrative duties - Assist in verifying all invoices and uplifts prior to departure - Ensure return of all route documents (invoice, pallet slip, return authorization, customer claim) - Ensure full POD (signed and accepted) - Ensure document modification done where applicable - Ensure returns and hand in documents according to procedure
