Requirements
A Senior/Grade 12 certificate or relevant qualification. Knowledge of clerical functions, practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collate administrative statistics. Skills in planning and organizing, verbal and written communications skills. Basic knowledge and insight of Human Resources prescripts. Knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service, procedures in terms of the working environment, and interpersonal relations. Good people and diversity management skills.
Duties
Render general clerical support services. Record, organize, store, capture and retrieve correspondence and data within the unit. Update registers and statistics. Handle routine enquiries. Make photocopies, Type letters and / or correspondence when required. Distribute documents / packages to various stakeholders. Keep and maintain the filing system for the component. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to line function activities. Assist with organizing of meetings and take minutes. Assist with administrative support in procurement, and other activities in the unit.
