Requirements
The ideal candidate must be in possession of a Senior Certificate/ Grade 12 or equivalent with 0-6 months experience in Human Resource Management procedures in the Public Service and a valid driver’s licence. Essential Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required: The successful candidate must have: In depth knowledge in the Public Service Human Resource Management; Sound knowledge of PERSAL; Computer literacy; Good numerical skills; Ability to work under pressure; Accuracy in checking and capturing information; Good communication skills (written and verbal). A PERSAL certificate; Introduction; Allowance and Deductions will be an added advantage.
Duties
The successful candidate will be required to provide a salary administration service to the Department with the following responsibilities: - Provide an effective and timeous service in respect of completion of all Persal salary related transactions; Provide an administration service with regard to salary related matters; process all abnormal appointments and related transactions; Provide advice and guidance with regard to salary related matters.
