Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse. Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as a Staff Nurse. Experience: Grade 1: None. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Staff Nurse with the SANC. Inherent requirements of the job: Willing to rotate in other wards when required. Willingness to work night duty, weekends, public holidays and overtime. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of Nursing care processes. Ability to function in a team. Good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbally.
Duties
Development and implementation of basic patient care plans. Provide basic clinical nursing care. Effective utilization of physical and financial resources. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self-development.
