Requirements
Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification). Competencies: Knowledge of following: Clerical duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collect statistics; Understanding of the legislative framework governing the Public Service; Understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993; Working procedures in terms of the work environment. Skills in the following: Computer; Planning and Organising; Language; Good Verbal and Written Communication; Meeting Procedures and Minute Taking; Job Knowledge; Interpersonal Relations; Flexibility; Teamwork; Willingness to work irregular hours and meet tight deadlines; Ability to perform routine tasks Ability to operate office equipment; Ability to work under pressure.
Duties
Render general clerical support services within the OHAS component; Provide supply chain clerical support services within the OHAS component; Provide personnel administration clerical support services within the OHAS component; Provide financial administration support services in the OHAS component.
