Requirements

National Diploma in Facilities Management, Property Management, Public Administration (NQF6) or relevant qualification as recognised by SAQA. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Auxiliary and Telecommunication Services. Knowledge of administrative procedures. Financial and project management or related field. Knowledge of HR practices. Ability to gather and analyse information. Contract management. Computer literate. Coordination and writing reports. Planning and organising skills. Good communication skills (written and verbal). Good interpersonal relations skills. Ability to work independently and in a team.

Duties

Provide comprehensive Auxiliary Support Services, with a primary focus on cleaning and hygiene services, food aid functions and related functions. Ensure the effective delivery and coordination of auxiliary services across Head Office and regional offices. Support the management and monitoring of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure compliance and optimal service delivery. Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of auxiliary service projects. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and services to ensure adherence to 22 required standards. Compile detailed inspection and compliance reports, highlighting findings and recommending corrective actions. Administer and support the management of contracts/SLAs, including performance tracking and reporting. Monitor and ensure the availability of cleaning personnel, equipment, and materials for efficient service delivery. Supervise and lead a team, including performance management, training, and development of staff. Ensure consistent cleaning service delivery at all regional offices, including addressing service gaps. Manage and resolve service-related complaints and implement corrective and preventative measures. Provide support on telecommunication services, including coordination of installations and relocations of telephone lines. Facilitate the maintenance, repair, and replacement of faulty or obsolete telephone equipment. Conduct awareness and compliance campaigns related to auxiliary and telecommunication services.
