Requirements
Abet Level 4 or grade 10. National Senior Certificate will be an added advantage. No experience required. Exposure to the environment will be an added advantage. Prepared to work after hours. Knowledge: Basic knowledge of work procedures in terms of the working environment. Interpersonal relations and communication skills. A valid (Code 8) driving license.
Duties
Assist in receiving, loading, and offloading goods in the district. Assist in stock taking and verification of assets. Ensure prompt delivery of documents to provincial office, other departments and safe keeping of information/documents whilst in transit. Photocopying of documents. Collection of delivery items/ correspondence to various offices in the district. Ferry officials to departmental events, i.e., workshops and meetings. Collect and deliver mail to registry office. Paste notices in the district notice boards. Assist in any general assistant’s duties as and when required to do so. Provide cleaning services of offices, boardroom, and walkways. Keep and maintain cleaning materials and equipment. Prepare venue for functions and meetings. Prepare tea during meetings. Assist during functions.
