Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: Basic literacy and numeracy skills. Experience: Appropriate Laundry and Linen experience in a Central Laundry setting. Inherent requirement of the job: Physically fit to do manual labour. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication skills.
Duties
Provide effective, efficient, safe hygiene and cleaning practices within the laundry. Provide a support service to Linen Supervisor. Daily unloading of soiled linen from trucks. Daily loading of trucks. Return of clean linen to linen bank. Packing of shelves in Linen bank. Sorting of soiled linen under the supervision of the Linen Supervisor.
