Type of position : Permanent employment opportunity The Position : To manage the day-to-day delivery of lecturing of Commerce qualifications on the Mbombela campus. Minimum Requirements Minimum qualification : - Relevant Masters degree Experience : - At least five years’ experience as a lecturer in the higher education industry - Either demonstrated management potential or two years’ experience in educational management and leadership Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities : As the Manager: Academic Delivery (Faculty of Commerce), you will be primarily responsible for the following: - Accountability areas – operating / financial results accountable for: Functional and Behavioural Competencies Functional competencies : - Computer literacy – well developed MS Office skills - Working knowledge of learning systems (LMS) - Good understanding of qualification frameworks and academic processes and governance structures - Good understanding of management principles and remote managerial abilities Behavioural competencies : - Initiative and responsibility: - People leadership and development: - Relations and networking - Effective communication - Professional and technical expertise - Self-development - Analysis and judgment / problem solving - Systematic approach (planning and organising) - Execution – attention to detail - Steadiness (emotional tenacity)
