Campus Midrand Department Academic - Management Number of Positions 1 Location - Town / City Midrand Minimum Education Level Masters Degree Job Advert Summary Eduvos is looking to employ the services of an Manager: Academic Delivery (Faculty of Education) , with specialisation in the field of Education , to be based at our Midrand campus, on a permanent basis. Type of position : Permanent employment opportunity The Position : To manage the day-to-day delivery of Lecturing of specific (PGCE & BEd) qualifications across campuses and through Online Learning mode Minimum Requirements Minimum qualification : - Masters in Education degree Experience : - At least five years’ experience as a lecturer in the higher education industry, with specialisation in the field of Education - Either demonstrated management potential or two years’ experience in educational management and leadership - Preferred Subject Matter Expertise: Undergraduate-level education qualifications. Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities : As the Manager: Academic Delivery (Faculty of Education), you will be primarily responsible for the following: - Accountability areas – operating / financial results accountable for: Functional and Behavioural Competencies Functional competencies : - Computer literacy – well developed MS Office skills - Working knowledge of learning systems (LMS) - Good understanding of qualification frameworks and academic processes and governance structures - Good understanding of management principles and remote managerial abilities Behavioural competencies : - Initiative and responsibility: - People leadership and development: - Relations and networking - Effective communication - Professional and technical expertise - Self-development - Analysis and judgment / problem solving - Systematic approach (planning and organising) - Execution – attention to detail - Steadiness (emotional tenacity)
