The primary purpose of the role is to provide independent, technically robust assurance over MTN’s cyber security posture, through a combination of: • Risk-based internal audit methodologies • Ethical hacking and threat-led assessments • Cyber incident review and forensic analysis • Evaluation of emerging technology risks, including AI and automation The role serves as the cyber security technical authority within Internal Audit, ensuring effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of cyber risks across MTN’s operations, platforms, and ecosystems.
