Limited Duration Contract- The core purpose of the Manager: Provisions, Profitability and Risk Appetite is to guide and manage the modelling and supporting analysis to estimate expected credit loss in line with the IFRS 9 standard for the post-paid portfolio. It is crucial to ensure the compliance, accuracy and efficiency of monthly provision runs, model recalibrations, monitoring of provisions and its component parameters, as well as analysis of the impacts of key assumptions. The role will also manage communications and provisions related submissions to external audit. Furthermore, it will be responsible and accountable for the analysis and monitoring relating to profitability modelling that supports the setting and maintenance of the credit risk appetite to ensure onboarding of customers in line with the business strategy. These models will need to be kept in line with best market practice, recalibrated periodically, and leveraged to provide input into collection targets and pricing
