Ensure that float/cash office security procedures are always adhered to Minimum Requirements Communicate Conscientious (by the books) Handle routine work Thorough/accurate Attention to detail Minimum Grade 10 is essential (Grade 12 Advantageous) Computer Literate – Advantageous Ability to communicate in English Location: Lotus River Key Responsibilities Balance cashier’s daily takings. Complete cashier’s settlement sheet. Record cashier’s shorts and overs. Complete and reconcile taking sheet (if applicable). Prepare takings for collection. Ensure that relevant documentation is accurately completed and verified before collection. Physical banking of cheques and cash (if applicable). Order change for next day’s trading (if applicable). Takings figures communicated to support office (if applicable) Communicate discrepancies to management (if applicable). Ensure that float/cash office security procedures are adhered to at all times.
