About the role Join Shoprite as a Production Clerk and play a vital role in optimising warehouse operations through expert route controlling, credit processing, and client service query resolution. This entry-level position demands strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in inventory and records management systems to ensure accurate data capture and efficient service delivery. What you'll do - Control and manage routing schedules to ensure timely dispatch of deliveries. - Resolve client service inquiries promptly and efficiently. - Monitor and address discrepancies related to invoices not processed through dispatch on time. - Identify and process misprints accurately to maintain data integrity. - Rebook any missing invoices to ensure complete and accurate financial records. - Prioritise and organise invoices according to their respective routes for streamlined operations. - Investigate and account for any missing stock promptly. - Ensure timely completion of all assigned duties within established deadlines. - Maintain accuracy in credit processing and promptly communicate with clients regarding their accounts. - Provide high-quality, accurate information and actions to uphold service excellence and client satisfaction. What you bring - Minimum educational qualification of Grade 12 (high school diploma or equivalent) - Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating relevant skills and competencies - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members - Well-developed organisational and time management abilities to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment - Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail in completing assigned tasks - Basic proficiency in relevant computer applications and software tools - Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards - Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and technologies as required - Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
