Forklift operator will need transport valuable items , requiring diligence and good hand -eye coordination. Duties & Responsibilities - Following the legal instruction from a supervisor, foreman, manager or any other senior authority. - Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehicles - Moving pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facility - Checking loads are secure - Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance - Following written instructions and keeping records - Adhering to health and safety regulations - Completing physical tasks quickly and accurately. - Reporting hazards and dangers that may arise. - Ensuring the vehicle is in safe and legal working condition. - Must obey and follow all rules and regulations of the company. - Follow the general machinery regulations. - Follow the Forklift training licence test and practical information Skills and Competencies - Valid fork-lifting certificate - Good physical condition - Good organizational skills - Attantion to detail - Good written and verbal communication Qualifications - Matric/GED - Forklift valid license 7 tons - Experience in operating Forklift , medical certificate ( not older than 3 months) - Endurance - Physical Ability
