Job description The Discipline of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education’s New Generation of Academics’ Programme, has an exciting opportunity for eligible candidates to pursue a career as an academic and researcher. The successful candidate will be expected to register for a doctoral degree at UKZN and will be closely mentored to become an academic through a programme designed to assist with early career development. The incumbent will report to the Academic Leader Discipline: Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering. Minimum requirements - A BSc Engineering or B. Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering (NQF level 8) - A Masters degree in Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering, focusing on Artificial Intelligence, with a pass mark of at least 70% - South African Citizen
