Tracking Number CAS 22/2025 R1 Department Cultural Affairs and Sport Salary level 5 Enquiries Mr G Cloete at (021) 483 9846 Location - Town / City Cape Town, CBD Job Purpose The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sports, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to render supply chain management (SCM) clerical services; The successful incumbent must be willing to travel when required. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification) Recommendation None. Key Performance Areas Rendering asset management clerical tasks; Update and maintain asset registers; Assist with BAS/Logis Monthly Reconciliations; Identify and administer redundant, non-serviceable and obsolete moveable assets for disposal; Request and receive quotations is respect of asset acquisitions and disposals; Monitor, analyse and determine actions to ensure proper asset and disposal management; Provide support to line function; Conducting asset verifications (Stock-take). Competencies Knowledge of the following : Supply Chain and Asset Management; Asset Management Guidelines; Supply chain duties, practices as well as the ability to capture data, operate computer and collecting statistics; Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and PPPFA Regulations. B-BBEE; Procurement activities; Asset management policies and procedures /procurement policies and procedures; Document management Enterprise Content Management (ECM), inclusive of registry services and policy and procedures governing these functions. Skills in the following: Report writing; Written and verbal communication. Remuneration R 237 453- R 279 708 per annum (Salary Level 5) Note on remuneration in addition service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
